Michael
Back when Michael was manager of the Arpee Golf Club, he would use Ento all the time. From working on the roster to reviewing timesheets and finding last minute fill ins.
A typical day
- 08:54
- Clock in for the day on the time clock.
- 10:10
- Have a quick look at the time clock and make sure everyone rostering this morning is clocked in.
- 11:00
- Review yesterdays timesheets.

- Approve the pending leave and unavailability requests.

- Build and publish next week's roster.

- Approve the shift swap Harry has requested for next Thursday.

- Find a fill in for Patrick who has just called in sick for his bar shift later.

- Get a message from Harry saying he can work the shift. Assign Patrick’s shift to him.

- Have a quick look at the time clock and make sure everyone who’s shift should be finished is clocked out.

Harry
Harry was a typical casual staff - constantly forgetting his shifts and failing to let his manager know about his future unavailability. Ento is making those problems a thing of the past.

- Receive a SMS of next week's roster.

- Clock in for the day on the time clock.
- 13:00
- Receive next weeks Roster over SMS. Send a reply message to acknowledge them.

- Realise he had a date with Erin lined up for next Thursday. Log in to the staff app and request a shift swap with Nick.
- 13:30
- Get a SMS from Ento notifying him that his shift swap has been approved.
- 18:05
- Clock out for the day on the time clock.
- 22:20
- Log back in to the staff app and see who he’s working with tomorrow.

- Put an unavailability request in for a festival he wants to attend next month.
Erin
Erin used to spend hours handling complex award rules, now Ento does it for her. Not only that, Erin can audit and export approved timesheets with a click.
A typical day
- 08:56
- Clock in for the day on the time clock.
- 12:15
- Check that Michael has approved all of the previous pay cycle’s timesheets.
- 12:20
- Export the complete pay cycle to Xero.

- Run the loading breakdown report and notice a spike of overtime last Wednesday.

- 'Audit' a few of last Wednesday’s shifts and see the staff had noted a function had pushed them into overtime.

- Create an employee record for the new team member, James.

- Modify William’s ordinary hours from 50 hours fortnightly to 76 hours fortnightly and give him a pay bump.

Michael
It wasn’t long before Michael was promoted to head office - to manage the workforce across all of Arpee’s locations. Fortunately for Michael Ento made this easier as well.

- Run the roster compliance report and see which managers haven't published next week's roster.
