Extracting custom loadings data

Ento’s custom loading CSV function allows you to set up different frameworks for when you export payroll data, depending on what kind of data you want to export.

To set up custom loading CSVs, click on Settings > Export templates, then click Create new button.

  1. Name your template – ideally, a name that describes what kind of data your Export template will be filtering (e.g. Daily Loading Summary by Role)
  2. Select Custom Loadings CSV in the dropdown, then click Next
  3. You’ll now need to select exactly what information you want to be included when you use this template to export payroll. Your options fall under the following categories:

 

One row per combination of …
Your options here are to have separate rows for data on staff, dates, shifts/leave, stores or roles. Alternatively, you can opt to check the ‘Don’t flatten data’ box.

Staff
You can choose to include ID number, full name, first name, last name, condition set ID, primary store ID and primary ID.

Dates
You can include the date, day of the week (number format), day of the week, and day of pay cycle.

Shifts and leave
You can include shift ID, type, label, store ID, role ID, start date, end date, start time, actual start time, end time, actual end time, break start, break length, break end, actual hours, billable hours, shift cost, shift state, date authorised, authorised by (ID), and authorised by (name).

Stores
Include store ID or store name.

Roles
Include role ID or role name.

Loadings
You can include the earning rates ID, earning rates, earning rates type, earning rates rate, earning rates start time and earning rates end time.

Extras
You can also include the cost, and earning rates units.

Once you’ve selected the fields you want to be included in this template, you’ll be able to see a preview of how your template will be laid out at the bottom of the page.

You can click and drag columns to change the order in which the information is displayed.

Once you’re happy with the fields you’ve included, and the order they’re presented in, click Save.
