Exporting and printing your roster

After you have published your roster, it’s a great idea to export and print it.

To do so, click on the Export & print button in the top right corner of the Rostering → Work on roster page.

You can also export and print rosters from the Rostering → Rosters page.

Below you will find a breakdown of all the fields on the Rostering → Export & print page of your account.

Select 'Export to Excel' to download a roster that looks similar to the roster builder in .xlsx format; for printing. Select 'Export shift data' if you want row-by-row list of shifts on your roster. The export will be available in any of the shift based export formats you defined on the 'Payroll -> Export templates' area of your account.
From2014-12-07The first date you want to export to cover. It can be useful to change this if you only need to export a section of your %roster%. This field will default to the roster start date or the first date you had in view on the roster builder when you pressed 'Export & print'.
To2014-12-13The last date you want to export to cover. This date can be outside of the rosters date so you can print multiple rosters in one go. This field will default to the roster start date or the first date you had in view on the roster builder when you pressed 'Export & print'.
ViewStaffIf you have selected 'Export to Excel' you can define which view (role or staff) you would like to print.
Shift detailsShift label (break length) @ Break startIf you have selected 'Export to Excel' you will be asked to define the bits of information you would like to show for each shift within the exported roster. You can add data over two lines.
Leave detailsLeave type (Hours)If you are exporting to Excel and have selected 'staff' view, you can add leave details in a similar way to how you just added shift details.
Other detailsNotesExtra bits information you would like included in your export to Excel.
Export formatRostered vs. actual vs. authorisedIf you have selected 'Export shift data' select the export format you had previously built on the 'Payroll -> Export templates' page.
