Import batches of New Hires to be recorded and onboarded in a single import
Core HR > Account Data > Import Data
Importing New Hires
To start a new file import, go to Core HR > Account data > Import data and click Create new.
Open the Type dropdown list and select ‘New Hires’. This name may change depending on your chosen terminology.
The purple bar under the file selection will then update to include a ‘Click here’ link for downloading a CSV template that includes all the fields necessary to get importing.

New Hires import requirements
The New Hires import requires a unique ID per pre-onboard that you enter, as well as at least a first name and a job name.
Any further information about the New Hires and the role is optional.
Hire dates and commencement dates, if entered, must be in the yyyy-mm-dd format.
Once the import is complete, these new New Hires will show up in Onboarding & Workflows > New Hires, where you can onboard them individually or in bulk, as required.
