As part of the Australian Taxation Office’s expansion of single touch payroll mandatory reporting (ATO STP Phase 2), you will be required to report on the components which make up the amounts paid to staff (such as gross pay, paid leave, allowances or overtime). The mandatory start date for Phase 2 reporting is 1 January 2022.
Depending on your configuration, Ento may already be set up and ready to facilitate this by using the existing custom loadings export or payroll integration functionality. This will allow you to export this breakdown for all hours against an employee. It will list their ordinary hours, overtime, paid leave as well as any allowances.
If when running these reports or exports you do not see this information, this might mean you’ll need some tweaks to your export report settings, award configuration or integration settings.
